Create your very own zine with Artist Tamara Desiatov - Sunday 30th March, 2025. Part of the Dandenong Ranges Open Studios weekend - Studio no.20. All materials supplied. Youth, All Ages Welcome! Please bring in any materials you would like to use as part of your design i.e. family photos, illustrations, writing, cut-outs from magazines, etc. At the end of the workshop, you will be able to take home your very own Zine (A5 magazine).

A zine is a small-circulation, self-published publication that is usually made by a single person or small group. Zines are similar to magazines and can be digital or hand-made. Zines can include: hand-drawn art, cut-and-paste methods with images, text and artwork including printmaking.

Tamara Desiatov is an Artist Designer and Filmmaker. Tamara Desiatov has been making Zines since the 1990’s, focused on environmental activism (i.e. Beyond The Dark Horizon). Tamara is currently working on projects mapping both family history and local wildflowers of the Dandenong Ranges. Tamara is a teacher of Visual Arts and Design & Technologies.
