Happy Valley Conference Center, nestled between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley, is the perfect destination for you to do the things YOU love to do! There is NO agenda for the weekend except for YOUR agenda! The food is fantastic, the setting serene, and the focused time away, invaluable! The basic retreat is Friday at 3pm-Sunday at 3:00pm and costs $295. You can add an early Friday arrival option for an additional $30 (which includes 9am arrival and lunch on Friday), or a Thursday 3pm arrival option for an additional $115 (which includes lodging on Thursday night, as well as breakfast and lunch on Friday).

Your retreat cost includes all meals (starting with dinner Friday, unless you have chosen an early-arrival option), accommodations in rooms that sleep 2-4** guests, and a full 6' table for sewing. After two years of being shut down combined with rising labor and food costs, Happy Valley's prices have increased quite a bit since 2020. In an effort to keep your costs lower, I have not built in a budget for goodie bags or "extras." But hopefully you come for the focused time away, the great company, the yummy food and not for the swag.😉)

Your minimal on-line deposit of $25 here on Humantix is NON-REFUNDABLE, but will be applied to the final cost of your retreat. Once you have registered, I will send you an invoice with your final bill and detailed info on how to make your final payment.

Final payments will be due by SEPTEMBER 1, 2022. Feel free to make payments of smaller amounts between now and then, if that is helpful.

IMPORTANT COVID INFO:

Due to the continued uncertainty of Covid, I am limiting my fall retreat attendance, and there will only be about 16 people in the Creekside sewing room. ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR ALL 2022 RETREATS AT HAPPY VALLEY MUST BE FULLY VAXXED AND BOOSTED. As of now, that only means the first booster. HV will continue to adhere to CDC recommendations, so if the CDC recommends a second booster, I will have to require that as well. I will be requesting proof of vaccination about one month prior to the weekend, just in case those guidelines change at all between now and then.

Also, Happy Valley is currently requiring all guest groups to either mask indoors OR test upon arrival, and I am choosing to have guests test upon arrival (so no masking required, but is always optional at every guest's discretion). ALL GUESTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BRING THEIR OWN COVID TEST FOR TESTING. I will have a limited number available for $15 each, should anyone forget one. 

Because of HV's efforts to keep groups closed once guests have arrived (so as not to risk outside exposure), we are asking participants to stay on site all weekend, once they have arrived and tested. HV will continue to adhere to policies that keep their guests' safety as their top priority, so if these policies shift, I will let you know. In the unlikely chance you test positive upon (or shortly before arrival), you will not be able to attend and we can move your retreat fee to a different weekend.

CANCELLATION POLICY: NO refunds of deposits will be given.*** Once your payment has been made in full, you can receive a FULL refund (minus the $25 deposit) up until one month prior to retreat, a 50% refund until two weeks prior to the retreat, and no refunds can be given within two weeks of the retreat start date (unless you test positive with Covid within 5 days of or upon arrival at the retreat).
