Happy Valley Conference Center, nestled between Santa Cruz and Scotts Valley, is the perfect destination for you to do the things YOU love to do! There is NO agenda for the weekend except for YOUR agenda! The food is fantastic, the setting serene, and the focused time away, invaluable! Come scrapbook, stamp, sew, knit, paint... IMPORTANT COVID INFO:
Due to the continued uncertainty of Covid, I am limiting my fall retreats to about 40 participants (rather than the normal 55-60). ALL PARTICIPANTS FOR ALL 2022 RETREATS AT HAPPY VALLEY MUST BE FULLY VAXXED AND BOOSTED. As of now, that only means the first booster. HV will continue to adhere to CDC recommendations, so if the CDC recommends a second booster, I will have to require that as well. Also, Happy Valley is currently requiring all guest groups to either mask indoors OR test upon arrival, and I am choosing to have guests test upon arrival (so no masking required). HV will continue to adhere to policies that keep their guests' safety as their top priority, so if these policies shift, I will let you know. In the unlikely chance you test positive upon (or shortly before arrival), you will not be able to attend and we can move your retreat fee to a different weekend.
This retreat is a 3-night minimum weekend (either Thursday-Sunday or Friday-Monday) with the option to add on the 4th night. Pricing is as follows:
Thursday 3pm-Sunday 3pm OR Friday 3pm-Monday 3pm: $410
Thursday 3pm-Monday 3pm: $510
Your retreat cost includes all meals (except for Thursday dinner, which we do on our own) accommodations in rooms that sleep 2-4** guests, and a full 6' table for executing your craft. Check out www.happyvalleycc.org for more info on this great venue!
I am also offering an option for people to "buy" an extra table. Because I am offering smaller retreats, I will have room for a limited number of guests to purchase an extra 6-foot table to spread out for the weekend. The cost for an additional table is $100 (and available on a first-come, first-serve basis).
Your minimal on-line deposit of $25 here on Humantix is NON-REFUNDABLE, but will be applied to the final cost of your retreat. Once you have registered, I will send you an invoice with your final bill and detailed info on how to make your final payment. If you have a credit on file from a canceled 2020 retreat, I will apply that to your final balance due. I still need you to register here with the deposit so I have all of your information current for the upcoming retreat.
Final payments will be due by OCTOBER 1, 2022. Feel free to make payments of smaller amounts between now and then, if that is helpful.
CANCELLATION POLICY: NO refunds of deposits will be given.*** Once your payment has been made in full, you can receive a FULL refund (minus the $25 deposit) up until one month prior to retreat, a 50% refund until two weeks prior to the retreat, and no refunds can be given within two weeks of the retreat start date (unless you test positive with Covid within 5 days of or upon arrival at the retreat).
