Creating a base map for your property

Base maps are a starting place for dreaming and planning how you would like your property to be in the future as well as capturing important information about what is already there.

In this practical workshop we will help you to create a scaled base map of your property to leave with at the end of the afternoon. We will help you find your property online and then create a template in one of 2 ways; either by hand or digitally. There is a little bit of work for you to do before the workshop and we will send an email with information a week before the event.

Don’t worry if you’ve never done any mapping! This will be a fun afternoon with lots of help available and different methods for different folks.

We won’t be stopping for afternoon tea, instead we’ll have a refreshments table set up in the room for you to use at any time. Please feel free to bring something to share, tea and coffee will be provided.
