Price $99 AUD Get tickets

Event description

Do you want to improve your self-awareness in new and creative ways?

Have you always wanted to journal but aren't sure how to start a practice?

Do you need some creative strategies to reduce your stress and improve your resilience?

This course is an exploration of the importance of journalling and some of the popular types. The goal of this course is to present you with a range of options outside written journalling that might work for your own reflective practice. As well as discussing techniques and giving you some activities to explore the ideas, Kylie will provide you with some resources and additional references to help you discover more for yourself.

Kylie is a huge supporter of the idea of self-experimentation as a means of developing actions, practices and habits that work well for your unique situation and brain. That is why this course explores and introduces some of the more popular journalling styles and provides you with references to support you in experimenting with them after the workshop.

In this course we will:

  • Discuss benefits of journalling and different types
  • Explore sketchnoting as a journalling style
  • Explore mindfulness activities
  • Discuss art journalling
  • Explore bullet journalling.

If you would like to improve your self-awareness and mental health management, come along and you might discover a style that works for you!

Not at all. We're going to be doing some simple drawings along the way, but part of the techniques we will discuss are being creative in non-drawing ways.

Are there any age restrictions?
