Most of the time in bachata, we train combinations and technique.

But becoming a fun, skilful dancer is much more than combinations.

Great Connection is what really makes a dance memorable. No matter the experience level, connection is what we ALL want to feel AND no matter what level you're currently at, connection is something that can always be improved because there are no limits to it.

In this short course with Amie and Samir, you’ll learn all the important techniques and secrets to make you a beautiful, fun, calm and connected dancer.

Here's a summary of the course focus:

Week 1: Creating Good Connection

Tools on how to start the dance, create connection in the beginning of the dance & how to use these tools within in the slower sensual parts of the song as well.

Week 2: Secret & Subtle Techniques

Making the dance simple but effective, using subtle and impactful techniques/concepts

Week 3: Adding Flavour

Musicality Samir Style, finding moments to be creative & playful

Week 4: Integration

Bringing it all together to create a good, flowing dance with light and shade

LOGISTICS:

Cost: $80 paid in full before May 8th or $25 paid weekly

Time: 7:45-9pm (followed by optional social dancing) on Wednesday May 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th
