Creating Christmas Decorations from Waste
Event description
Creating Christmas Decorations from Waste
Come and enjoy a FREE continuous workshop of creating Christmas Decorations from Waste. Select from a diverse range of reclaimed materials to make your unique small hanging Christmas decoration that looks good, re-uses waste and reduces the need to buy new.
This is the perfect style of workshop for adults to get into your creative flow, experiment with colour and texture and give yourself the chance to relax with no predetermined outcome - only to create a Christmas decoration. Also ideal for children from 8 years of age.
This two hour, continuous workshop is guided and facilitated by Newcastle-based eco living educator Mardi from French for Tuesday. Drop in at any time between 10am and 11.40am and stay as long as you like until noon.
Supported by Lake Macquarie City Council
This free workshop is made possible with the support of Lake Macquarie City Council and is running as part of the well-received Lake Mac Repair It Cafe - held at the Pasterfield Sports Community Hall, Horizon Avenue, Cameron Park (Lake Macquarie NSW).
