Sat, 26 Jul, 1pm - 3pm AEST

Event description

Join artist Karla Dickens in the gallery for an afternoon of yarning, creating and sharing as a community. Slow down and enjoy the healing power of creativity and being together.

Karla Dickens is a nationally recognised artist of Wiradjuri, Irish and German heritage. Dickens uses her multidisciplinary practice to bring dark humour to her unflinching interrogation of subjects such as race, gender and injustice. Through her mastery and utilisation of 'found-objects', overlooked or discarded objects are given new contexts that interrogate Australian culture, contest histories and agitate for change.

This is a free event but spaces are limited. Please RVSP to reserve a place.

If you are unable to attend, please ensure you release your ticket so another person can attend. If booked out, please join the waitlist and you will be notified if a place becomes available.
