Background

In an Australian-first, Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (DLGSC) is providing free online placemaking training to all local government staff and Elected Members in WA.

Placemaking is both a strategic approach and a practical process for creating positive changes, both within your organisation and in the community. The workshop complements and adds to the online courses available via Placemaking.Education. It builds on the existing work of some local governments and helps to scale these kinds of initiatives across the state.

To receive instructions on how to access the training for free if you work for a local govt in WA, email hello@placemaking.education.
