    Event description

Australia is in the midst of an extinction crisis due to the massive loss of

native wildlife habitat over the last two centuries.

Everyone can play a role in stopping this trend. Our home gardens can be transformed into

a sanctuary for native wildlife of all sorts, including birds, frogs, insects and mammals.

Come and learn how you can create safe and desirable gardens to attract native wildlife to

your home. Some topics to be discussed include:

    • Common types of wildlife that can be attracted into gardens.

    • Designing a diversity of habitat types into gardens.

    • Building and installing nesting boxes and other shelters for wildlife.

    • Providing water and other essentials wildlife need...and more!

This session is presented by Armadale Gosnells Landcare Group.

    All ages are welcome.

Places are limited and bookings are essential.

    Visit library.armadale.wa.gov.au or call 9394 5125.
