Creating your child safe action plan - In-person workshop
Description
Ready to move from understanding the ACT Child Safe Standards to putting them into practice? This practical, in-person workshop will support organisations to assess where they are now, identify priorities for improvement, and begin developing a Child Safe Action Plan tailored to their organisation.
By the end of the workshop, you will have started developing a Child Safe Action Plan for your organisation.
Who should attend?
This workshop is designed to support organisations to work on their Child Safe Action Plan, and we encourage you to think about who from your organisation can best contribute to that work.
You can attend individually or with colleagues. Where possible, consider bringing people with different roles or perspectives on child safety across your organisation. Depending on your organisation, this might include someone involved in leadership, recruitment or HR, risk and governance, service delivery, or working directly with children and young people.
We recommend no more that 3 participants from each organisation. Rather than registering several people from the same team or work area, consider which combination of people will bring useful perspectives on child safety risks and practices across your organisation.
Places are limited to 20 organisations, so please register only if you intend to attend the workshop in person. If your plans change, please cancel your registration so the place can be made available to another organisation.
