The Creative Connect Networking series of events was launched in 2025 by Creative Arts Gympie Region with the intent to strengthen networks and nurture collaborative opportunities across the creative, events and other sectors.

This event follows the 2025 Heart of Gold International Short Film Festival (HoGISFF) which has embraced the community delivering four immersive days of short films, live music, talk, workshops and galas - across multiple venues to deliver a broader community and arts festival.
HoGISFF and Creative Arts Gympie Region invites local arts and events organisations, to share their programming plans in 2026 and look at ways they can complement each other.
There will also be an update from each of the Creative Arts Gympie Region delegates.
Creative Connect events are free, everyone is invited to attend with ideas on how you can contribute to the growth and economy of Gympie's arts sector.
