Creative Approaches was designed for service providers, teachers and other professionals who work with people with disability. Course participants can expect to develop the core skills and knowledge needed to provide support and information to the people they work with in a safe and inclusive way.

This is a 2 day course:

Day 1 (Level One) – Forming the foundation skills needed to support people with disability in the area of sexuality, relationships and protective behaviours. Also examining values and attitudes and the language we use.

Day 2 (Level Two) – Further building upon the skills gained in day one, this will include exploring how to manage inappropriate sexual behaviours, cyber awareness, understanding and supporting LGBTIQA+

Course days can be attended together or after attending Level One, Level Two can be attended separately at a later date.

For more information on each level, please visit the course page on the SHQ website.
