Creative Art Lab (After-School Elementary Art Class) FALL 2
Description
Six-Week Multimedia Art Exploration (Elementary Level)
Class meets 4-5:30 pm on Wednesdays, October 14 to November 18, 2026.
In this Six-week creative journey, students will explore the exciting world of multimedia art using a variety of materials, tools, and techniques. Each week introduces a new theme and medium, encouraging young artists to experiment, take creative risks, and discover their unique artistic voice. Students will work with drawing materials, paint, collage supplies, found objects, or simple sculptural elements as they learn to combine media in imaginative ways.
Through hands-on projects, guided demonstrations, and reflective discussions, students will practice essential skills such as color mixing, layering, texture building, and composition. They will also learn how artists draw inspiration from the world around them and how different materials can work together to tell a story or express an idea.
By the end of the six weeks, each student will have a collection of mixed-media artworks that showcase their creativity, experimentation, and growing confidence as artists. This course emphasizes curiosity, problem-solving, collaboration, and joyful exploration—perfect for elementary students eager to dive into the art-making process!
Class meets in our gallery Bee Cave Arts Foundation, in the Hill Country Galleria, suite F160 (across from Dillard's and H&M).
