Creative Caldera - How Can Art Shape Our Community?

Come along and help the new Creative Caldera committee reimagine arts events and support networks for artists in our area.

A New Creative Caldera!

Recently a new team of Arts Volunteers have come together to see what they can do to enrich the cultural and arts landscape of the Tweed. Creative Caldera is the organisation previously responsible for the Murwillumbah Art Trail and is looking to the community to see where we can take the legacy of this much loved local event in the future.

The recent ‘Who we are’ report by Arts Northern Rivers show that there is huge appetite for arts events in the community. Arts events play a huge role in creating community cohesion and economic activation.  We are in the very early stages of bringing a new arts festival to the Tweed, and we want to hear from artists, arts workers and audiences about what you’d like to see happen. 

To introduce ourselves and our new committee, we are holding an event at Ventura Brewing on the 24th of March. This get together of interested parties will be about discussing what the community would like to see from Creative Caldera and what they might like to see from a festival event. 

So please come along and share your feedback and ideas.
