Event description

For ages 12 years and older

Join Wrenscape for a Gelliplate Printmaking workshop.

Using a specialised gellatine slab, images can be transferred creating detailed impressions of textures and patterns of found objects, such as leaves, feathers, bubble wrap, lego etc. These are especially effective when layered using semi transparent inks. We will explore positive and negative space, layering and colour mixing. Gelliplate printing is achievable for everyone, no experience necessary. It is easy to replicate at home, highly addictive and has endless applications!

In the workshop you will make a framed artwork, cards, and/or a cover for a notebook/journal.

All materials provided, no prior experience required.

Tickets are $15 for City of Belmont residents (Ascot, Belmont, Cloverdale, Kewdale, Redcliffe and Rivervale), and $20 for non-residents.
