CREATIVE COLLISION TAS X WA
Description
Two states. One shared frequency.
Creative Tech Village, Western Australia's Creative Tech Innovation Hub, is bringing Emergence Creative Collision to Hobart for a first-of-its-kind Tasmania x WA creatives meet up.
Three hours at TMAG. Practitioners, studios, hubs, industry bodies, government and education partners from both states in one room, working out what real two-way collaboration between our regional creative economies could look like across screen, creative industries and emerging tech.
A working session, not a lecture. Expect direct conversation, useful introductions, and the kind of unexpected collisions Emergence Creative has been building since 2013.
On the agenda
The Creative Tech Exchange (CTX) model and how it connects WA to international hubs in Indonesia, Singapore and Vietnam. Tasmania's creative tech landscape and where the two states complement. Screen sector collaboration including co-production, crew mobility, location and post-production capability. Broader creative industries and tech collaboration across studio, agency, gaming, immersive and digital content strengths, and emerging ground in AI, XR and virtual production. A facilitated workshop mapping shared opportunities, hub partners, talent pathways and funding alignment. Commitments and next steps before we close.
