Creative Communities Funding Information - morning sessions
Thinking of applying for a Creative Communities Grant? Come along to a friendly information session and learn more about this fund, how it is assessed, and how to apply. The session will be led by the Christchurch City Council Arts Team and Community Funding Team with tea and coffee provided.
The group information session will run from 10am - 11am.
From 11am - 12pm there will be an opportunity for one-on-one time with the Council Community Arts and Funding advisors.
You are welcome attend all or any part of this 2-hour information session.
10.00am: Overview of the Creative Communities Funding Scheme
10.30am: Group Q&A Opportunity
11.00am - 12.00pm: Grant writing & Opportunity for one-on-one time with Community Arts and Funding Advisors
About
The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) provides funding to local communities so New Zealanders can be involved in local arts activities. The scheme supports a wide range of arts projects under the following art forms:
- craft and object arts
- dance
- inter-arts
- literature
- Māori arts
- multi-art form (including film)
- music
- Pacific arts
- theatre
- visual arts
Applicants can be an individual or a group. Individuals must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents. Most Creative Communities Scheme grants are for projects up to $5,000.
