Creative Encounters – Meet artist Ben Crawford at Boom Gallery
Description
Hosted by Boom Gallery, join represented artist Ben Crawford as he discusses his latest exhibition and artistic processes. As a figurative painter, Ben’s paintings have the feel of a dream or memory that has flickered into his mind, colours heightened and details slightly obscured; a feeling that transforms the landscapes he paints, making them appear simultaneously familiar and surreal. Visiting from his southern Queensland art studio in the Currumbin Valley, this intimate, Geelong Gallery members event offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with the artist and gain deeper insight into their artistic practices.
Free event for Geelong Gallery members.
Venue: Boom Gallery, 41 Pakington Street, Geelong West
Remember! Geelong Gallery Members receive a 10% discount on design objects, jewellery and ceramics upon presentation of a valid Geelong Gallery membership card.
