Creative Leadership Program | Broome

Regional Arts WA in partnership with Goolarri Media are excited to invite you to participate in a dynamic, career developing, two-day Creative Leadership Program, right here in Broome on 14 and 15 October. Designed for organisations, community leaders, local governments, teachers, artists and creative thinkers in the West Kimberley Region, this intensive leadership program will give you the theoretical knowledge and practical skills to build and strengthen your creative leadership skills. Led by Dr. Shona Erskine, a registered psychologist the program has been designed to help facilitate a culture of self-led leadership, collaborative leadership and community-led contribution, to specifically nurture the growth of leaders in regional WA.
The program is delivered in two modules over two days: MODULE ONE - BEING CREATIVE
Creative practice skills that everyone can use, no matter the situation. These micro-skills are easy to access and research has shown you will have a better than even chance at being creative when you need to be. No background in creative practice is needed to develop these skills. MODULE TWO - CREATIVITY IN GROUPS
Leadership processes for working with groups that need to think laterally and produce creative solutions. Creativity is most often a group endeavour! This module articulates the factors that guide groups toward creative solutions.
