*What are Listening Circles? - Listening circles are a simple way for a group of people to come together to be seen, heard and witnessed. You take turns answering three questions, and you’ll have a set amount of time to talk while the others simply listen. The questions are outlined below.
Q1. What’s on your mind? Q2. How do you feel now? Q3. What will you take away?
The aims are to have a space to be heard and to hear others' experiences without needing to ‘fix’ each other or give and receive advice; to create a sense of connection and reduce feelings of isolation; to experience the power of simply being listened to by your peers in a safe and supported space.
**An opportunity to bring work and/or ideas in progress for others to see and discuss - led by questions or provocations from you. Not as formal as a 'crit' - just time and space to look at and/or consider creative work.
