What’s Haunting You?: A Creative Reflection Expressive Arts Workshop

What do we carry with us long after we thought we had left it behind?

This is a queer-centered Creative Reflection workshop inviting you to gently explore the memories, beliefs, expectations, identities, and experiences that continue to linger in our lives.

Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, and intuitive art-making, co-facilitators Laurie Wever and Ginger Harbin will create space for you to slow down, notice what comes forward, and express it in whatever way feels right for you.

You don’t need to know how to meditate, keep a journal, or make art. There is no “right” way to create here. Your journaling and artwork can be abstract, messy, symbolic, colorful, quiet, strange, simple or anything in between!

This workshop is especially created with LGBTQIA+ people and those navigating identity, change, belonging, deconstruction, loss, growth, or simply the complicated experience of becoming more fully themselves in mind.

All materials are provided, and no previous art experience is necessary.

This October workshop is the first in our Creative Reflection expressive arts series. We are combining reflection, creativity, and community as we explore the stories we carry and what may be ready to emerge next.
