Creative Reflection Through Expressive Arts: What's Haunting You
Description
What haunts us and stays with us long after we think we've moved on?
This queer-centered Creative Reflection workshop offers a gentle space to explore the memories, beliefs, expectations, identities, and experiences that continue to shape us.
Through guided meditation, reflective journaling, and intuitive art-making, co-facilitators Laurie Wever and Ginger Harbin will help you slow down, listen inward, and explore whatever comes forward. There is no right or wrong way to participate. You do not need any experience with meditation, journaling, or art.
Your journal entries and artwork can be abstract, colorful, messy, symbolic, simple, quiet, or anything else that feels authentic to you.
This workshop is especially welcoming to LGBTQIA+ individuals and anyone navigating identity, change, belonging, deconstruction, loss, growth, or the ongoing journey of becoming more fully themselves.
