Creative Studio: ESSA

Price: Free - Students must attend all 3 days
Collage and animate with Sydney based mixed media artist, Essa, and bring your art to life with GIFy creations.
Inspired by the Powerhouse Collection, participants will collaborate to design and transform collages into shareable GIF animations.
Essa’s love for collaging bold, colourful and playful mixed media is informed by their approach to the weaving of abstract concepts. An artist based on Gadigal Land and recent graduate of D&AD Shift with Google, Essa aims to bring her practice into spaces of learning, where autonomy, reflection and curiosity spark imagination.
Each participant will be provided with an iPad and other relevant resources for the duration of the 3-day workshop.
Recommended for high school students in grades 7–12.
This workshop is free, however bookings are essential as places are limited.
