Inner West Mayor, Clr Darcy Byrne invites you to join us to celebrate the opening of 7 of our Inner West Town Halls as free arts and creative venues.
CREATIVE TOWN HALLS LAUNCH
Venue: Petersham Town Hall, 107 Crystal St, Petersham
Time: Friday July 19 from 6pm-8:30pm
Special guest speaker: Jonathan Biggins OAM
Drinks and nibbles provided along with performances by local artists to enjoy.
Inner West Council has transformed 7 of our Town Halls into arts and cultural venues for use by local artists and creatives, free of charge, providing new, free spaces for live performance, rehearsal and exhibition.
Council has also fitted out each of these town halls with audio visual and performance equipment to make them easy and attractive to use.
This exciting initiative means that our local creative community will have many more spaces to display, practice and perform their work.
We invite you to find out more about our Creative Town Hall program and help us to spread the word that our town halls are now available free of charge for artistic use.
Jonathan Biggins (Inner West resident, actor, singer, writer, director, and comedian) will be our special guest speaker at the event.
