BDEF Creative Wellbeing Workshops 🎨

A welcoming, accessible creative space for Disabled people across Bristol.

Come along to BDEF's Creative Wellbeing Group – a regular creative group where Disabled people can come together, make art, share ideas, learn from one another and build connections.

All materials are provided, from painting and drawing to collage, creative writing, clay building and more! Feel free to bring your own project or simply drop by and take part.

Each session will explore a different theme, with opportunities to experiment with a range of creative activities and materials. Activities will be relaxed and informal, with plenty of choice so you can take part in a way that works for you.

Who is it for?

The Creative Wellbeing Workshops are for Disabled people across Bristol (aged 16+), including neurodivergent people, people with long-term health conditions and people experiencing mental health conditions.

No previous creative experience is needed.

When and where?

📍 Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC)
Leinster Avenue, Bristol, BS4 1NL

📅 Second and fourth Tuesdays of each month
🕐 1pm–3pm

The sessions are designed to be drop-in and flexible, so you can arrive and leave according to your access needs, energy levels, appointments and other commitments.

Accessibility

KWMC is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible ground-floor toilet. PAs are welcome.
