Creative Woodwork, Ōwairaka Sea Scouts Hall, Thursday 25 September 2.30pm-4.30pm
Event description
Proudly brought to you by Auckland Council Waste Solutions!
Using wood off-cuts and leftover paint, children learn how to give materials a second life in this creative woodwork class.
They’ll design and build their own wooden masterpiece, then sand and paint it. Kids will learn to use a drill safely and confidently.
Working with different wood shapes and sizes, kids get to explore their creativity and think outside the box.
It’s a fun way for kids to develop new skills and values they can use every day.
For kids 7+ or 5+ with a supervising caregiver.
Note: WEAR OLD CLOTHES that can get paint on it and closed-toe shoes.
When: Thursday 25 September 2.30pm-4.30pm
Where: Ōwairaka Sea Scouts Hall, Range View Road, Mount Albert
