Creative Writing Workshops for Kids (10-14yo) - Term 3, 2024
Event description
This is a workshop for highly motivated young writers (10 - 14 years old) who are eager to write, learn new skills, and find inspiration in a variety of prompts and engaging discussions each week. This is the perfect space for those who love listening to the work of their peers and offering constructive feedback, as well as sharing their own writing (if they want to).
Whatever their current level, this workshop is suitable for young people who are truly excited about writing and want to practice and learn how to become better writers.
✏️ This workshop is held online via Zoom. Writers are welcome from near and far!
(Terms are usually 8 weeks. This term, we are opening this group for 6 weeks to gage interest in this time slot.)
✏️ Please come prepared with writing paper and a pencil. We will also prepare an Online Writing Book for those who would like to type.
✏️ To help us provide feedback to students who are handwriting, please send us a photo of their pages after each workshop.
✏️ Limited to 10 writers per session.
✏️ Join us casually, or save when you book for the term!
