Are you seeking to start a new creative endeavour, stop procrastinating on a long held project, finish the many works you have started, or yearning to connect with like-minded individuals and lessen the loneliness of creating alone? Look no further! 

Creative Commune is a one-of-a-kind event where artists, writers, composers, and creatives of all kinds come together to break through barriers, spark new levels of imagination and get to working alone, together! 

Learn practical tools get into flow, in a quiet, supportive space where you can:

• Overcome procrastination and creative blocks
• Practice in your craft, art or project without external distractions
• Work alone, together with like-minded folk
• Socialise over a wine or chai.        

EVENT SCHEDULE

INTRO TO FLOW - At the introduction we will guide you through exercises and techniques that will help you overcome blocks, ignite inspiration, and tap into the elusive state of flow.

DEEP WORK - Two invigorating segments of deep work, separated by a break, encouraging you to work conscientiously in your chosen area of art or practice.

CONNECTION - Have cup of chai or glass of wine (on us!), relax, mingle, and share experiences with fellow creators

This event is open to artists of all levels, whether you're a seasoned artist or just beginning to explore your creative side, Creative Commune welcomes you with open arms. Prepare to immerse yourself in an atmosphere brimming with inspiration, support, and artistic camaraderie.

Creative Commune is not just about the work; it's also about building connections and fostering a sense of community. After two segments of deep work, we'll come together for a delightful social time where you can relax, mingle, share experiences with fellow creators, and engage in conversations that transcend boundaries and spark new collaborations.

WHAT TO BRING

All you need to do is bring the supplies you need to work in your creative practice or endeavour. This event is all about deep work, there is no wifi available. If your work is noisy, please bring in an aspect of your work that can be done in silence, around others. ie. Composers can write music, actors can work on script analysis, designers can sketch, singers can study a music score, writers can start that book or screenplay or poem. If you are a visual artist, we request that you are also mindful to bring in supplies that don't emit strong odours. ie. A sketchpad vs oil paint. If you work best with music, please bring in headphones.
