Our May instalment of Creatives + Connections will be facilitated by Elliott Brannen of Tempo Tax & Accounting.
Elliott specialises in supporting creative people in creative businesses. In this workshop he will cover the basics of business setup including; ABN, bank accounts, invoicing, record-keeping (Xero, MYOB, spreadsheets); along with an introduction to tax matters including: GST, PAYG Instalments, BAS, Tax returns, what’s income and what’s deductible, income averaging, and all about managing cashflow including: how much to charge, payment terms, putting money aside, superannuation, profitability, and more.
