Event description

Part of the Beaker Street Crawl.

Travel around Australia through art with the 2023 Hadley’s Art Prize exhibition of finalists. Come and see how artists are responding to changing landscapes.

Learn about orange bellied parrots and make an orange bellied parrot paper plane.

At 3:30pm join CEO of the Tasmanian Land Conservancy and conservation ecologist James Hattam and Hadley’s Art Prize Curator Amy Jackett for a walking conversation in the gallery about the role of creativity in sparking awareness of environmental issues and how creativity is important for scientific problem solving and endeavour.
