Event description

We’re all writers here. Whether you’re a seasoned scribe or a baby writerling, you are welcome in this space and we believe we all have much to gain from writing together. How does the saying go?

Words of a feather . . . flock together.

Join us for a casual Creativity Picnic, co-hosted by Words of a Feather & The Provocative Inklings.

All creatives and creativities are welcome!

Bring your writing, sketchbooks, watercolours, colouring books, knitting, crafts, or books to read - however you’d like to spend a peaceful, creative morning together! Afterwards, we’ll share a pot-luck picnic.

Creativity Picnics are free. Just bring your projects, a blanket, and something to share if you’re staying for the picnic part!

Bookings are essential.

Structure:

11:00 - 12:30: Quiet creative time. Please settle in quietly, even if you arrive late, to allow everyone to find their flow. We'll have plenty of time to catch up afterwards :)

12.30 - 1.30 (approx): Picnic* and sharing/chatting time. You are welcome to continue creating as long as you like, or head off anytime you like.

Notes:

🍃 Please bring your own materials, a blanket and/or camping chair (whatever you need to be comfortable!), and something to share if you are staying for the picnic.

🍃 During the cooler months, we will host our gatherings indoors. If we are in a cafe, there is no need to contribute to a picnic - food and drinks will be available to order if you wish :)
