DISRUPT @ SWINBURNE: CREATORS’ DAY brings emerging creators and industry professionals together to explore the current developments in screen storytelling and creative practices in a rapidly changing age of GenAI. The morning programme examines the frameworks shaping creative work, including the future of jobs, intellectual property and copyright, and the continuing importance of intention, taste and judgement.

In the afternoon, the focus will be on Creators, Gen AI tools and creative production workflows, which will be showcased at Swinburne’s bespoke Virtual Universe. Designed to inspire and inform, CREATORS’ DAY will provide insights into the changing AI landscape and identify tools and creative approaches for ‘tomorrow’s’ stories. 

CREATORS’ DAY will conclude at the Hawthorn Hotel for an informal networking gathering of speakers, creators and attendees.
