Creatures from the Void is a Psychedelic Art exhibition celebrating the ecology of consciousness that inhabits altered states of consciousness, in a nearby dimension, operating in parallel to our own, but only a few brave breaths away.

Creatures from the Void is not just an art show — it’s a dimensional breach. 👾

After three months of deep devoted transmission, artist Michael Sutherland presents his debut collection of visionary works: to bring these creatures and their living linguistics into form. In an effort to speak the unspeakable and communicate the ineffable. Born from black voids and bathed in psychedelic color, these creatures are channeled whispers from the invisible — transmissions encoded with the symbolic DNA of tarot, astrology and alchemy.

About the Artist:

Michael Sutherland is a visionary sound alchemist, loop-pedal performer, and psychedelic music researcher from Aotearoa. A trained recording engineer with credits on major New Zealand records, he’s known for fusing vintage analog warmth with futuristic sonic textures.

Michael pioneered Music for Float Tanks (used in over 70 float centres worldwide) and created the 6-hour sonic journey Music & the Mystical Experience for psilocybin therapy. He continues to work at the forefront of music for psychedelic therapy, collaborating on clinical trials to unlock music’s role in deep healing and awakening.

Creatures from the Void is his first body of visual work — a sacred transmission and offering of what lies beneath, behind, and beyond.
