Kick off Crescendo Youth Music Festival with an epic evening of orchestral magic! Top young musicians from Adelaide Youth Orchestra, AdYO Symphonic Winds and Elder Conservatorium Wind Orchestra will take you on a musical journey full of powerful percussion and thunderous brass. Whether you’re a long-time orchestral fan or just looking for a spectacular night out, Crescendo's first concert promises big sounds and bigger inspiration from some of SA's top emerging talent.

Presented by Adelaide Youth Orchestras, Crescendo Youth Music Festival is a new celebration of the future of music in South Australia.

Featuring more than 500 young musicians from across Adelaide, Crescendo is more than a festival — it’s a showcase of South Australia’s next generation of artists, creators, and leaders.

Each year Adelaide Youth Orchestras (AdYO) provides top music education programs and career pathways for South Australia’s brightest young musicians.

AdYO services and supports 300 young musicians participating each week during school terms a range of large ensembles (Youth Orchestra, Symphonic Winds, Wind Orchestra, Sinfonia, and Junior Strings), an exciting Percussion Ensemble, and smaller chamber groups. Since 2021, AdYO has supported more than 2,000 emerging young musicians to engage with our programs.

To be recognised as the leading Australian youth orchestra, giving young South Australians the opportunity to attain the highest standard of musical performance.

To provide talented young South Australian musicians with orchestral training, life skills and education in a safe, empowering and joyful environment.
