Competition details:
Special Olympics local competitions are for children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism, who wish to compete against other athletes in their chosen sport, and qualify for Special Olympics' state and national competitions. They include:
- High-quality competition for beginner, intermediate and advanced players
- Qualified umpires and game support officers
- Award presentation, with prizes and certificates
- Performance results and feedback
Who can get involved?
- Athletes who are registered as 2023 Special Olympics members, or players who have competed at the Belt Up Final Days
- Athletes who have experience and knowledge in the sport
- Athletes who want to become eligible to compete at our Special Olympics state and national competitions, including our upcoming 2023 State Games
How to register:
To participate in the competition, athletes must register online via this page by Monday 27 March. Athletes register as an individual player, and teams will be selected on the day.
