For over 130 years Fremantle Prison remained in continuous use, becoming known as a place of floggings, executions, dramatic escapes and prisoner riots.

Inmates, both male and female, included imperial convicts, colonial prisoners, 'enemy aliens', prisoners of war and maximum-security detainees.

In this session our panel reflect on the Prison's bleak history and engage with some of its more infamous stories.

- There is no smoking or vaping inside the prison building or grounds.
