    Event description

BDG LifeSciences, operating in India as BDG LifeSciences (OPC) Pvt. Ltd., and in collaboration with BBR PTY LTD. in Australia, is a distinguished bioinformatics company specializing in the facilitation of workshops, training sessions, innovative research projects, and online courses within the realm of bioinformatics technologies. Established in 2010, the company has been actively engaged in the field, holding registrations under the Ministry of MSME (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises), Government of India, with the registration number UDYAM-UP-01-0019151. Over the years, BDG LifeSciences has successfully imparted knowledge to a diverse array of participants worldwide, including students, scientists, faculty members, professors, and corporate executives.

We have launched a 150 minutes online Workshop in CRISPR entitled Your Gateway to the Genetic Revolution - A 2 Hour Crash Course in Gene Editing in which we will give you a complete overview of the technology. On successful completion of the course participation certificate will be provided. Recorded video session will be available after the session for the registered participants.

This workshop is meticulously crafted to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of CRISPR-Cas-mediated genome editing while integrating bioinformatics tools for data analysis and interpretation.

Participants will delve into the core principles and applications of CRISPR technology, exploring concepts such as the components of the CRISPR-Cas system, various gene editing techniques (including knockouts and insertions), validation methods, and ethical considerations related to gene editing.

In addition to theoretical sessions, this workshop features hands-on bioinformatics training. Attendees will engage in practical exercises involving bioinformatics tools and computational analyses. They will learn how to analyze sequencing data to validate CRISPR-mediated edits, understand functional implications of genomic alterations, and utilize bioinformatics software for in-depth analysis of edited sequences.

The workshop aims to empower participants with the necessary skills to effectively analyze CRISPR-generated data, interpret genomic changes, and gain insights into the potential applications and challenges of CRISPR-based genome editing.
