This Workshop is presented as part of the 2024 Critical Infrastructure Security Excellence Workshop series.

In an era of increasingly targeted and opportunistic attacks on critical infrastructure and intensified natural hazards, it is more important than ever to ensure Australia’s critical infrastructure assets have robust security practices in place to identify, prevent and mitigate risks from all hazards.

In 2024, the Department of Home Affairs is hosting a series of workshops around Australia’s capital cities to bring senior government leaders together with critical infrastructure owners and operators, members of the business community and academia to provide;

Insights into current threats: Understand the specific threats targeting critical infrastructure jurisdictionally and nationally.

Tools and information: Learn from senior government leaders on the initiatives underway to support your sector and enhance resilience.

Real-life case studies: Hear from industry and government leaders on past experiences, best practice guidance and discover actionable strategies.

Deep dive activity: Participate in interactive scenario activities to discover response mechanisms to threats to critical infrastructure. Delve into the roles of the relevant industries, Commonwealth and state governments, as well as sector interdependencies, and learn about opportunities to coordinate and collaborate to uplift security.

Don’t miss this opportunity to support the security and resilience uplift of critical infrastructure assets and supply chains, and network with government and industry representatives.
Morning tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided.
