Critical Path is 20!
Event description
Critical Path Artist Picnic is back!
Join us to celebrate our 20th Birthday with a jam-packed program of performances, talks, workshops and a keynote address by
Alexandra Harrison.
Critical Path has been championing our community of independent dance artists and nurturing choreographic innovation at The Drill for two decades! On March 8th, we start our special anniversary year with a celebration of you, our artists.
The Artists’ Picnic is free to all, thanks to support from Critical Path and Woollahra Council. We also invite those who can to make a voluntary donation which will contribute to the commissioning of an archival showcase film and publication that will tell ‘our stories’: stories of dance and discovery that have emerged during Critical Path’s 20 years at The Drill. With combined support from you, our dancers and dance-loving community, we aim to secure enough funding for this commission to complete our celebrations in November 2025.
Your donation will directly support the commission and the fees of the artists involved and your generosity will be acknowledged in the credits - no gift is too small!!
We invite you to also share this invitation with your friends and with lovers of contemporary dance. We would love to see you all at the Drill Hall for this special celebration!
