Event description

Granny squares are one of the most recognisable and adaptable patterns in the crochet world. In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will explore the fundamentals of crochet through the simple and satisfying process of creating a granny square.

Local crochet artist and maker, Joy, will guide participants through:

• Understanding yarn types and hook sizes

• How to read a basic crochet pattern

• Step-by-step guidance to create a granny square

• Creative inspiration and modern uses for the traditional square

• Building confidence in crochet as a mindful and rewarding practice

All materials are provided. No previous experience necessary.
