Please join us for a two (2) hour class demonstration to witness how to make authentic French croissants from scratch while enjoying a glass of Cava Brut or Rose, compliments of H2. More adult beverage selections will be available for purchase.

Alain Marec, your instructor, is a French born food scientist and home baker who will show you how to create a wonderful batch of French croissants or pain au chocolat.

During the class, you will witness the process of making croissants and pains au chocolat and all the steps in the process including: making the détrempe (dough), beurre de tourrage (butter layer), laminating simple and double folds finally shaping croissants/pains au chocolat.

During the two (2) hour demo class, each guest would get:

General to technical explanation of French pastry (based on guests interest) including - selection of ingredients, lamination process, importance of time and temperature, principles of fermentation, baker's math, etc...
A Hand out of the presentation shown during the event.
A gift box with 2 medium sized croissants and 2 pains au chocolat baked just before the class.
A demonstration by the instructor of all the steps of croissant making.
Questions & Answers with instructor throughout the class.
A glass of Cava Brut or Rose served by H2.
