We are rising to celebrate the regeneration of Mother Earth, coming together in community, remembering our sacred connection to our food, land care, music, song & ceremony, land art, unity consciousness & everything lovely in the natural world.

Welcoming everyone forward, all nations & generations to this special gathering of regeneration, celebrating food, the land, growing self sufficiency, community living, with world renowned regenerative agriculture specialist, tribal leaders, leading activist change makers and way-showers, the best roots and culture music, practical educational workshops, lectures, healers, the biggest and best childrens area of any such gathering, 100% waste and plastic free, solar powered , spring fed water, all night fires, ceremonies, stories and a beautiful chance for grass roots networks to build, share and grow and to speak our collective truth.

Crops not shops is a radical grassroots freedom movement visioning a better world into action through building land based community networks, regrowing and remembering each other, working in harmony with nature, building resilient community and self sufficiency and overthrowing the current corrupted control system by leading an example of how we should and can live naturally; in love and with our sacred connection in the web of life.

Why are we doing this?

This isn't just a festival, It's a sacred gathering, it's an invitation to change the world by getting back in touch with ourselves and the Earth again.
The world is changing and it's up to us to change it for the better.
We can do this by building resilient community on and off land,
This is what crops not shops is doing and we want to open up a space for people to come gather and see how easy and beautiful it is when we work together for a common good of all.
We love to bridge the worlds through this transition of great change and hope to advocate the connections needed to regenerate the earth and connect the people to our old ways of living.

SETTING A STANDARD APART FROM OTHERS

We know there is a need for real connection and healing, Being grounded, rooted and centred is essential to this happening. We need meditation and higher spiritual practices TO AID OUR DEEPER HEALING as well as practical land work and care for Mother Earth. we need to put our hands in the soil. Thats why crops not shops roots and culture gathering will be showcasing what we feel the real healing is.
The first spiritual connection is learning how to plant something.
---The second connection is remembering that all life comes from the female.
The third connection is knowing that we must preserve and protect all life for 7 generations.

This is why we offer an extensive and interactive family and children's area for all festivals. We want the children to be the focus at this festival.

Beautiful colour, living art and decoration is a key part of keeping festivals sustainable and regenerative.
We must leave the land better and more living everywhere we go.

Art is the communication of the soul, In-line with the ethos of regenerative agriculture, we have invited artists to showcase the first positive impact examples of art that leaves the land better than before, delighting the senses using materials of the earth to enhance the beauty of the land and the sacred event being held.

Food For Freedom Cafe has landed in Sacred Earth Roots & Culture Gathering on this very Special Summer Solstice.
We will be nourishing your souls and taste buds all weekend, from sacred Ceremonial Cacao, to wood fired hemp pizzas, raw medicine foods and hearty warm stews.
Everything we do considers the people, animals and planet around us. That's why it is so important that we shop local, grow fresh, organic food and support our surrounding communities.
We are FREE from Processed Sugars, Artificial colours & flavourings, Modern Wheats & Grains, Man-made Preservatives, Meat & Dairy.

Respect for our elders and the wisdom of our ancestors is crucial learning in this time. It is an integral thread to the healing needed to listen to our grandmothers, mothers and the shamans that know the deeper inner most blessings of spirit and all life.
