Cross-Body Tote Basket
Event description
The Cross-Body Tote Basket was designed by instructor Shannon Lucas Westrum, specifically for this workshop series. Students will have the opportunity to learn the making of a filled woven base, weaving with flat and round reed, and twining. They’ll design their unique piece by choosing from a variety of nylon and cotton straps and coordinating reed colors, strap designs will vary. The final step will be to decide the length of the strap and stitch the clasp on. Weavers of all levels are welcome.
Finished Basket is approx 17” long, 9” deep, basket sides are 9.25” high, without straps.
Ages 16+, hand dexterity is required.
