Cross-Cultural parenting Workshop in Ashburton



This workshop will help you navigate parenting challenges in New Zealand when you come from a different cultural background. It will also help you enjoy your parenting journey more while creating good conditions for your children to contribute and thrive.

The topics covered in the workshop are:

  • Ethnic family – culture and parenting
  • New Zealand context of parenting
  • New Zealand laws related to children.
  • Children’s rights
  • Children’s needs and development goals
  • Positive parenting principles
  • Tools and tips for positive parenting
