Crossing Strings (Austria) Guitar Workshop @ Humph Hall

This workshop is for advanced guitarists with two professional guitarists - Carina Linder (classical) & Markus Schlesinger (fingerstyle). This bridging of seemingly two different styles connects the world of classical music with popular culture and combines the techniques of both varieties in order to broaden the guitaristic horizon, regardless of artistic origin. The workshop is aimed at guitarists who have never come into contact with classical music and fingerstyle, as well as those who already have experience in these areas. In this workshop, simple folk accompaniment, arrangements of well-known jazz and pop songs, pieces and techniques in classical as well as Spanish/South American style, groovy compositions in open tunings as well as percussive techniques will be dealt with.

Concert - The workshop will be followed by a concert (included in the workshop fee).
