‘CROSSROADS - My Stories of Balibo’ marks 50 years since the murder of Anne E Stewart’s brother, journalist Tony Stewart in Balibo East Timor.
The family’s archivist and a professional storyteller, Anne weaves mythology, family anecdotes, history, music and images throughout to explain how this important moment in Australian history affected her family.
Much has been written and said about the death of the Balibo 5 but ‘Crossroads’ invites us on an inside
private journey with Anne and her family.
