Description
Can you solve under pressure? The Westside Crossword Tournament is back for its second year at Willy Lit Fest. The tournament is a chance for word nerds to gather, bond and compete, as they battle through rounds of increasing difficulty for a place in the live final.
All skill levels are welcome – from seasoned solvers to enthusiastic beginners. All you need to bring is your brain and a willingness to fully commit to the crossword chaos.

Eli is a Yarraville local and the mind behind the Westsider Crossword Tournament, returning for its second year at Willy Lit Fest. A lifelong word and puzzle enthusiast, Eli is the regular setter of The Westsider's crossword and creates puzzles for Saturday Quiz Time (and anywhere else that will let her near a grid), alongside writing just about anything – wine reviews, poetry, trivia, even a beginner-friendly guide to solving crosswords – plus a day job wrangling government comms into submission. When she's not constructing clues, she can usually be found at a pub quiz or hanging out with her partner in crime, Pepsi the Schnoodle.
