ASPECT FILM CLUB is a community film club for and by people of colour.

For our first film screening, ASPECT FILM CLUB presents a thrilling Wuxia epic from Taiwanese directorial icon Ang Lee.

Step into the theatre and be swept away. A stolen sword is the catalyst for this Qing dynasty tale of bandits, martial arts and love, starring Michelle Yeoh, Chow Yun-Fat, Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen.

WHERE: Wildflower Video, Fitzroy North (11 tram, 250/251 bus)

Arrive from 5pm to mingle and grab a drink at the front bar. Screening will start at 6pm and the film runs for 120 minutes.

This is a film club designed for people of colour who wish to connect with fellow film lovers and watch cinema from around the world. Allies are kindly requested to respect the intentions of the space.
