Poker Run

Everybody welcome - Bring the family down and wander around the cars on show. There will be a sausage sizzle and coffee car on site!

All vehicles welcome, it doesn't have to be a classic car to join in on the fun!

Times
10am - 12 noon - Registrations & Show and Shine! Get parked up early to show off your pride and joy!

12 noon - Vehicles will leave the Newfield Tavern and cruise to various stops around Southland to pick a playing card to record on your Poker card. Prizes for best poker hand at prizegiving. Maps will be provided at Registration.

6 pm - Prizegiving at the Newfield Tavern!

Cost
$20* per vehicle (includes all passengers in the vehicle.
$5* per Card which gives you one poker hand. Can be purchased online, or on the day during registration.

Public admission - free (but please feel free to pop a donation in the Hospice buckets)!

Poker hand – how does it work?

Purchase your Poker Card online or at registration ($5 per hand). There are 2 hands on a Poker Card and you can choose to play one hand or two.

At Registration and the 4 stops on the cruise, pick a playing card from a deck of cards and this will be recorded on your Poker Card. If you choose to play two hands on your Poker Card, you can choose which hand your card will be recorded giving you a better chance to get the best hand!

You can purchase extra cards or hands at any of the stops, and you will then pick playing cards to catch up, eg if you choose to purchase another hand at stop 3, you will pick 3 playing cards at that time.

Fundraiser Night

Get a group together and join us for a great night of entertainment at the Newfield Tavern. There will be both silent and live auctions, a great local band "The Freshies" and supper provided. Tickets are limited so buy now to avoid missing out!

Rules

In entering the Cruise 4 Care Poker Run, you acknowledge:

that entry to this event is at your own risk and you agree to abide by all rules governing this event
that you will respect fellow entrants, officials and any other person
that you will hold free from liability the organisers, landowners, event sponsors and their helpers.
that you will be held accountable for any damage to grounds and other people's property that is intentionally done by yourself
you will obey all road rules
that any sustained loss of traction will result in expulsion from the event
you will drive at walking speed in the Newfield Tavern carpark
you will obey all instructions from marshalls/officials
